faithful

September 28, 2018

Mostly most of my lovers I’ve let go  & still know

I’m  faithful.

Y’know, belittling me..(so I’m blanketing you with talk?)

Go shut down your psychic powers

I’ve just put in twelve hours

At the hospital reteaching my much better half how to walk.

.

She fell off her horse in a storm.

Lightening spooked both of them  the same time.

The dumb animal stood by her/  in all the wet.

It might have bolted/  the thunder said “Go!”

The Wild  and men are meant to just go.

I’ve pity, not hatred

Alive but domesticated, caught in its net

FIERCE PHALANXES

May 17, 2018

Her heartbreaking fuses

Popped one by one   useless

His hearing distant thunders

Scared him, scarred him

far ago

A  steady  rough  ruckus

The  steeds’  hooves  deep in dust

For  needs for tender mercies

Form  now  in firm phalanxes

not far ago   at all

RUSTFALL

April 15, 2018

Afterwards  we’d hugged to bed

Afterall  it’s there for former lovers

To  reaquaint

To fall backwards  & lose one’s head

.

We’ll  let  rustfall

.

We could only invite  to come closer

Than  we  can  see

.

And after confidences, all

We could oblige to

Is  sighing

And  more  dream

THE IMMENSE ANGLE

February 14, 2018

 “The eternal angle
Between land and sky
Divided by the wind
The immense angle
Of the straight road
Divided by a wish”

it’s clear
god’s an accomplice
in our deception
the perfect crime
for the church of no burden ;
our chances,  our exchanges, our chime
 I have allowed me
my grey canvas, my grey cloud forecast,
you have spoiled me
with your spill of colour,
your display, your vase of colour
your face.
I’ll stir those blends of colour
on a broken palette piece
no burden
&  start to start to understand
to masterplan my masterpiece
it just might
be a study in dark and light
direct light smooches in a diner lot
like lovers do
the side of her that faced the sunrise, new
I cupped my hand to shade  her face, that’s what I do
Keep my love in shadow
but her cheek was hot

MY PLEA, SURE

February 14, 2018

I loved   just under my breath

Just above the collar-

Toward the back of her moon-colored sundress.

Hold on  to my breath

Hold,   & I holy hope

Right forthright for our portal opening

& if we’d once/ Go take this chance

This  achy  slow  dance is done today

This must  go & leave  t’heaven

Just one heave away

WE’D GO SO

February 14, 2018

This  one  liaison

We’ll go so  for foreign films

Our unbridled pillow talk there,

On chiseled crystal chaise lounge chairs,

Will be subtitled.

.

We’d meet.

One moon  might

Lighten  one  clutch,

Tonight  once closed curtains

Might   much/open/legged  open  one

We’d mean

To go  so far as to

Show our gods of love  lots of what they’d bet on,

Completedly   W/some things  &

Unneededly  subtitlings.

Up In (Open) Arms

October 29, 2013

Up in (open) arms that I’ve the aching undertaking of yr charms, yr straightforward charms

.

Failing sight, sage poets might

Remember,imagine love,

& metafoureyes

“Dying  embers”,

Instead  to name & say that the sacred Eternals

Can flourish,  & flows in those red flames.

As secret pals,

Judicious,

Assuaging  all  coming,

We just won’t resist succumbing

All over  to this trance

Of our certain circumstance.

I might I might just sometime

See the chance

&  right  rock

To smash that lock.

Ungrounded

February 22, 2013

I bet when,

W/ all our wet skin,

Ungrounded  &

Exposed wires sparking,

& speaking for us,

I bet then,

All the while we’ll

Pop

As we crash on by

All the caution lights

Yellowing loud

All across town
