OK  I hate that “soulmate” is a fowl cultural cliche’

But it likely could be lifeblood, & have a saving Grace,

But  a  burndon

when things go wrong

And one  one can barely live with

A burndon  one can hardly lay with,

Stay with   when things go wrong

When a soulmate might come  to separate some

Then a burndon  might act up some

might oh might

Just combust some

These  agonies, stowed loud  to stoic  quiet,

Annoy her, as if their noise could be heard,

Annoy her,  every word,

Every imaginable syllable

And though a throw-away joke…

She’ll attest is a thrust attack,

Jeez  these agonies

Have me taken aback

Have me taking pills & drink to swill ’em back.

Closed Parties

He goes to closed parties.

He knows no one.  No one knows.

There his thoughts wear way too many clothes.

.

His  anger  is  lock-boxed.

He’s a danger only to his own clocks.

.

May

His constant, sustaining strength

To strain out  stenches

Stay

May  his consequences  fall, then (when they may)

May his  changes  happen.

Noting  that  nothing

At  all,

That  that, et al.

Isn’t  silly

As any  owlish couch pillow,

Watching yr. self-taught  bits,

When one ought to  sit on it.

If  thrift  wit

Against  all  it;

Adversity,

And/or  deadpanness,

Can handle that beast

W/ Monkey grease,

Why go  quiet?

And you’re thus  quite  dangerous,

Or at least

You’re red-lit  too quiet

So red that

All fear for to stand clear,

They’ll stop, some spy some, and bet, I think

To see you Pop

Or soften to a safer pink.

‘Better Hold your mouth lest you let go the rest of it'”

I’ve been suffering fools madly all Monday/

It’s enough

What I wear

Hasn’t flamed up  to ash  from constraint/

If I could only fix my furious

Between Olive And Rose

January 9, 2012

It is foolish to suggest

These twin sisters finish

Each others’ sentences,

This strange twist is

They  start  them.

.

One started how there’s no stopping

When ones’  wounded in hatred;

“The malev..violence at the mall,”

“A machine gun in a car”,

Said her sister, as she went so far as to

Read in the paper.

“I know him.

Y’know,  He reminds me of one fraud

In a camouflaged cap

Who was there begging for another vague veterans cause.

When I passed  on this, he aggressively addressed me,

‘Enjoy your Free dom’.  Yeah, that’s him

In the paper”

.

One started how there’s no stopping

One  wounded in love.

In truth, when one’s  sweet tooth

is acting up, often, off the map,

It’s true, House cats that come

From the darkest rooms & the farthest lawns

Are drawn to Sweet Tooth’s lap,”

Her blood sister could only flush.

November 22, 2011

Days in Days out    You’re surprising me.

Without a thought  You’re  raising

Your voice  in most responses

To my end  of talk.

I bet I ingratiate  your  flow.

But  you initiate  wildfires

Within  me

Whenever you yell at this dog

A  slow  burn  is  born,

&  brown charred landscapes,

Crops Dead!  Imminent.

When you yell at this dog

I’ll walk away.   furthermore,

Every time,  farther

Damning us  on

Too far to return.

“Dreadful Her”  is what, in their rage, they called her.

Some element inside her

Spurred them so.

She stirred their bad passions

Tos such an agitated state

Beyond  reason

It was all they could,  & did do

Just to mutter cruel, &

At various times, vulgar

Judgements, accusations, &

Outrageous claims, &

Imaginings, too.

“Dreadful  Her”.
