WILLOWS

January 11, 2012

We’ll go back to the willows

And to our river’s still,  no,

It’s constant as rivers go.

We’ll lend our laps as pillows.

And watch our water

Littered with new leaves

Wet on just one side,

It’s lit…a sun jewel

& you’ll be sunny too.

  1. There is a lovely gentle up-lifting feel to this.

I feel the better for having read it
