April 16, 2011

heck,  I accept the amber arrow

on tonight’s long ride road,

not as a suggestion,

it’s readily  the end of the road

.

.

I can  (and will) still  give voice

to clever  outbursts

tho’  involuntarily  and  in verse–

the trajectory  of a wild punch

makes it milder, is my hunch,

and the  round.  all arranged,

that I dive,  still unchanged,

it’s steadily, the end of the road.
